About CBSE 10th

CBSE 10th 2021: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the CBSE Class 10th board exams every year. This year, the main examinations will be conducted between May 4 and June 10.  The delay in the conduct of exams is due to the pandemic situation going on. The detailed CBSE 10th date sheet 2021 for theoretical exams will be out in January 2021 and the admit card will be issued 15-20 days before the exams. The CBSE practical examinations 2021 will begin from March 1 and the CBSE 10th Result 2021 will be released by July 10, 2021.

The Board has reduced the CBSE 10th syllabus 2021 by 30 percent due to the ongoing COVID19 pandemic. 

Latest Update

In 2020, CBSE had scheduled to conduct the Class 10th examination from February 15 to March 20. However, due to coronavirus outbreak, some of the papers had to be cancelled. The Board had released the CBSE 10th admit card on the official website in January. Schools downloaded the CBSE admit cards for all the students and distributed it to students. It is important to carry the CBSE class 10th admit card on all exam days, failing which students are not allowed to write the exam. 

The CBSE 10th Result 2020 was declared on July 15 on the official website. Students can check their CBSE 10th Result using Roll no, DOB, school name, the centre no, admit card id, all of which are available on the admit card. The compartment examinations were conducted in September and the result for the same was announced on October 12, 2020. 



 CBSE 10th Result 2021

CBSE will release the CBSE 10th result 2021 by July 15. Students can check their result using admit card number, date of birth, roll number, school number and school centre number in the login window. The online CBSE Class 10th Result 2021 contains student's details and marks secured by them. Students can also check CBSE result 2021 for 10th class via SMS or IVRS.

Last year, the Board has released the class 10th Result on July 15, 2020 on the official website. A total number of 18,89,878 candidates appeared for CBSE Class 10 exams. CBSE 10th result is calculated from a total of 500 marks.

What after CBSE 10th?

Students who clear CBSE 10th exams 2021 are eligible to be promoted to Class 11. They will need to choose an academic stream from Science, Commerce, and Arts to be pursued in classes 11th and 12th.  Students must also remember to collect their original marksheet and certificate from their schools. These documents are important and need to be shown during admission to colleges/universities.

Those students participating in Sports at National level organized by recognized Federations/CBSE/School Games Federation of India (SGFI), the required percentage of attendance is 60 per cent.

A: No, the syllabus for Summative Assessment II includes only those topics which are taught during term II (October - March).

A: To get admitted to CBSE class 10, you must have passed class 9 from any recognised education board.
